NexPlan Linear is a construction planning tool. This page says what we store and what we do not. It is written for planners, not lawyers.
Programmes you open in the browser
If you are not signed in, the project stays on this computer (browser storage). We do not receive a copy. Anyone who uses this computer, or a browser extension, may be able to read that local copy.
Signed-in cloud save
When you sign in, projects you save can be stored in your NexPlan account so they come back after refresh. Those files sit in a private database and file store (Supabase). Each account can only see its own projects. We do not sell programmes, XER files, or activity lists.
The database and file store are hosted in the EU (Central EU, Frankfurt). You can download any programme as an XER or NexPlan file at any time.
Sign-in
Sign-in uses email/password or Google. Google receives the request that you chose to sign in. We store the account email and a user id so we can attach your projects to you.
Analytics
The public website may use Google Analytics to count visits. We do not send project names, chainage, or XER contents to Analytics.
AI features
Optional layout/planning AI runs on the server. It is off unless we turn it on. When it is on, only a signed-in user can spend the model, and we send a shortened activity summary — not your whole XER. If AI is off, the app uses local rules instead.
Cookies
Signed-in sessions use cookies so you stay logged in. They are not used to advertise NexPlan on other sites.
Contact
NexPlan Linear is an independent project run by Nageb Moustafa, a construction planner. For a privacy question or to have a signed-in account removed, message on LinkedIn. You can also sign in and delete the projects you no longer want stored.
